About The Author

Brianna Gallemore

I'm Brianna and I am a NASM certified nutritional coach, published author and ophthalmic technician. I am a wife and mom with a beautiful blended family.

I attended El Camino College where I obtained my AA degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Nutrition. Following El Camino College, I transferred to California State University Dominguez Hills where I have started my BA degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Nutrition. As an athlete, I learned to enjoy healthy habits that worked to fuel and heal my body. This is what began my passion for nutrition. As a nutritional coach, my goal is to help clients succeed in creating a healthy and happy lifestyle.

I am a technician at the Retina Macula Institute (RMI), a private ophthalmology practice in Torrance, Ca. During my time at RMI I have learned how nutrition can affect the leading causes of blindness - diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. In addition, I achieved leadership positions in the front office, back office and developed expertise in the evaluation and testing of patients as well as scribing.

Following the COVID-19 pandemic, our world has become unfamiliar. We have all had to adjust our roles within our new "normal" to continue on with work, school, family, friends and life. Like many, my own family faced its own share of struggles during lockdown. Our second youngest, who at the begging of lockdown was six months old, had to develop at home secluded from the world while I was pregnant with his baby sister. Between pregnancy insomnia and thinking about what my midnight snack would be; I drafted my first book in the middle of the night.

This is all a small part of who I am and what I do. Follow me in my writing and through my pictures to learn more.
